Bandar Seri Begawan, Sunday, 7 th April 2024 – Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) held a Ramadhan donation drive to its 27 underprivileged patients across all districts as part of PJSC’s corporate social responsibility. This annual donation drive was organized under a joint initiative between PJSC Ibadah Friendly Hospital Committee and Medical Social Work Department, PJSC.

“At PJSC, we are committed to provide positive impact towards our patients while encouraging our staffs to share the joy and blessings of Ramadhan through charity. We thank our PJSC Ibadah Friendly Hospital Committee, our medical social workers as well as staffs who are involved in making this meaningful initiative a successful one,” said Ustaz Hj Ishkandar Hj Buntar, Chairperson of PJSC Ibadah Friendly Hospital Committee.

More than 90 volunteers comprising of senior management, head of departments, healthcare professionals and staffs participated in this year’s donation drive. The programme divided into 5 groups to cover 5 catchment areas in all districts. Present to hand over the donations were Dr Haji Mazrul Adimin Bin Haji Awang Besar, Executive Director of PJSC and other members of the senior
management team.

This year’s donation drive also welcomed participation from International School of Brunei (ISB) students as part of their Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) project, in their International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Joining in contributing to the donation drive were Armada Properties Sdn Bhd, Massutera Engineering Sdn Bhd, Taurean Bakeshop & Café, Royal Brunei Culinary
and IBIC Sdn Bhd (Sehat).

PJSC is incredibly grateful with the overwhelming contribution and participation received this year. It is also hoped that this donation drive would further strengthen the bonds between patients and our healthcare professionals which reflects our slogan WeCare that encompasses both PJSC’s vision, mission, and core values.
