Safe Maternal and Newborn Care

17th September 2021 marks the annual World Patient Safety Day with the theme “Safe Maternal and Newborn Care.” According to the World Health Organization, pregnant women and newborns are exposed to a significant burden of risks and harm due to unsafe care that is compounded by the disruption of essential health services caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

PJSC is committed to ensuring our patients who are pregnant or with newborn babies are safe when accessing our healthcare services. Pregnant patients with essential needs are still being attended to at PJSC and are advised procedures to ensure their safety. Pregnant staffs are allowed to work from home with reduced hours.

Here at PJSC, patient safety has always been at the core of our practice. As a specialized healthcare institution, we strive to offer the finest patient care possible without compromising their safety.
