Talk on Male and Female Cancers to Over 50 Royal Brunei Airlines Staff

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness and Movember, The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC) had the opportunity to deliver a talk on male and female cancers to over 50 Royal Brunei Airlines staffs. The talk programme was organized by RBA Social Welfare Committee with the aim to promote overall wellbeing among staffs.

The talk was led by Dr Raden Mas Jeffri Raden Mas Ismail, Consultant Medical Oncologist and Dr Sadrina Hj Marsidi, Senior Medical Officer. During the talk, the audience had the opportunity to learn more about common male and female cancer in Brunei, the importance of identifying signs and symptoms and taking immediate action once early signs and symptoms are detected. The talk then followed with a brief demonstration on how to do a breast self-examination and a quiz where the audience showed their enthusiasm in winning the prizes. The talk concluded with a Q&A session where the audience asked and engaged in a discussion with the speakers.

PJSC hoped that the talk will empower RBA staffs to support the awareness efforts by sharing the life-saving knowledge and prevention message to their family and friends.
