On 27th January 2024, Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC) of PJSC had the opportunity to collaborate with Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) on a Stroke Awareness Talk at the UTB Lecture Hall. The audience, consisting of students and UTB staff members, were educated on recognising the signs and symptoms of stroke to curb the rising Stroke cases in Brunei Darussalam.

The talk was delivered by our esteemed Dr. Hein Thet Zaw, Medical Officer in BNSRC, who highlighted the importance of B.E.F.A.S.T to reverse the disease and prevent further damage to the surrounding area of the affected brain. The audience also had the opportunity to address their concerns on the topic with BNSRC Healthcare Professional and were offered free blood pressure check by the attending staff.
