The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC), PJSC collaborated with The Moto & Gincu, an independent group of female local riders, to host a Women’s Health & Breast Cancer Awareness event on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club in Panaga. The event gathered 150 local riders for the “Ride For Hope,” aimed at raising funds for the PJSC Medical Social Fund, which supports underprivileged patients by providing essential items such as milk powder and medical equipment.
Dr. Raden Mas Jeffri Bin Raden Mas Ismail, a Consultant Radiation Oncologist, represented PJSC and participated in the ride, which began at the Bridex Hall parking area and concluded at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club. During the event, PJSC showcased educational materials about cancer and the importance of early detection and prevention.
The event was part of the month-long Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign, reinforcing the commitment to provide crucial information, encourage women to undergo routine screenings and to support those who are facing challenges of diagnosis and treatment.
