Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) marked another milestone today as we officially launched the Nuclear Cardiology Service at PJSC Level 1. To officiate the new service, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held and completed by special guests, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Awg Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC and Minister of Finance II and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC and Minister of Health.

This Nuclear Cardiology Service represents our continuous efforts towards enhancing the capability of Brunei Darussalam’s healthcare system and providing the best care for patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases. With this, clinicians are able to get information regarding blood flow to the heart and can assess the cardiac functions. With nuclear cardiology techniques, we can diagnose and differentiate patients in whom medical management is helpful or any intervention like CABG or stenting is required.
