Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) marked the final week of Ramadhan with a Launching of Ibadah Friendly Hospital initiative event at Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Jerudong on Tuesday, 18th April 2023.
The PJSC Ibadah Friendly Hospital (IFH) is the first concept of its kind that aims to be a model of Islamic healthcare institution that provides compassionate and holistic care addressing patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in accordance with the ‘Negara Zikir’ agenda. The initiative also focuses on empowering staffs with effective spiritual support to Muslim patients and their families by promoting Islamic knowledge and practice within the hospital setting.
Present as the guest of honour for the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohd Isham Bin Hj Jaafar, Chairman of Board of Directors of PJSC. Also present at the function were Dr Haji Mazrul Adimin Bin Haji Awang Besar, Executive Director of PJSC, members of Board of Directors, management and staffs of PJSC and other invited guests.
The event began with the recitations of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah followed with donation handover to 36 orphans. The event proceeded with the launching of PJSC Ibadah Friendly Hospital (IFH) initiative, group photo with IFH committees, followed with a certificate handover to the participants of Semarak Ramadhan programme.
