Financial Counselling
Prior to your admission at Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre, there are a few things you should know.
If you are a resident of Brunei Darussalam and holds a valid yellow or red identity card, you are not required to pay for medical services. However, you must present a Referral Letter from either RIPAS or the government clinic.
If your inpatient bill is to be settled by your insurance company as pre-arranged with the Centre, you must present a valid Letter of Guarantee which covers you 100% prior to your admission. In the event of any co-insurance or excess payment (which is only acceptable if pre-arranged by your insurer and PJSC), we shall collect these payments accordingly before your discharge. Co-insurance may constitute a percentage of deposit collection of up to 20% of your estimated hospital bill. Any remaining deposit after the offset from your bill will only be refunded after your insurer pays us.
If your billing is to be borne by your employer, you are required to present a valid and official Letter of Guarantee from your employer prior to our medical services being rendered. We are unable to accept a letter of guarantee from any company that does not have a prior credit facility arrangement with the Centre.
For Outpatient, a self-payer will have to pay in full after medical services have been rendered.
For Inpatient self-payer, we shall collect a deposit (amount to be determined depending on the entity you are being admitted at) upon admission with a top-up occasionally throughout your hospitalization. The hospital bill will be collected in full prior to your discharge.
Should there be any remaining deposit after your bill has been settled, we shall refund the balance due to you accordingly.
