The Epilepsy Awareness Talk was held on Tuesday, 13th August 2024, at Dewan Al-‘Afiah, Ministry of Health. The event included a detailed presentation about epilepsy, a demonstration on how to deal with seizures, as well as a question and answer session for the participants.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Tuan Haji Yusma Ariffin bin Dato Paduka Haji Md Yusof, Acting Director of Institut Perkhidmatan Awam (IPA).

The event is organised by the Epilepsy Empowerment Group (EEG) from IPA’s Young Executive Programme (YEP) as part of their Community Outreach Program, Project COPE (Community Outreach For People With Epilepsy) in collaboration with Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre.

Project COPE is proudly supported by Gleneagles Jerudong Park Medical Centre (GJPMC), Health Promotion Centre (HPC), Happy Environment And Lifestyle (HEAL) Programme, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD), ABCeats, and Beverages by Wafi.
