On Sunday, 13th October 2024, the Brunei Neuroscience Stroke & Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC) of Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) proudly hosted Brunei’s first-ever Brunei Rehabilitation Medicine Symposium. The symposium welcomed seven esteemed ASEAN delegates to share their knowledge and experiences with an engaged audience of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and medical students from across the nation. Dr. Mazrul Adimin bin Hj Awg Besar, PJSC’s Executive Director, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.

The symposium began with inspiring opening remarks from Dr. Abang Hj Fahmy bin Abang Hj Hepnie, who emphasised, “Rehabilitation Medicine isn’t just about fighting disease—it’s about restoring lives and helping people thrive after injury, illness, or surgery.”
