Marking the start of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC) held a launching ceremony of the Think Pink Take Action Awareness Week earlier today.

Gracing the event as the Guest of Honor was Dr Haji Mazrul Adimin Bin Haji Awg Besar, Executive Director of PJSC. The event was attended by PJSC management and staffs, invited guests and participating vendors and partners.

The event begin with a recital of Surah Al-Fatihah, an opening remarks given by Dr Haji Muhd Syafiq Bin Abdullah, Director of TBCC followed by launching session and group photo session.

Think Pink Take Action Awareness Week aims to showcase services and products that are beneficial to breast cancer patients such as breast related services from Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Unit, RIPAS Hospital and cancer rehab service from BNSRC. The event is also part of TBCC mission to provide crucial information, encourage women to undergo routine screenings and to support those who are facing challenges of diagnosis and treatment.
