PJSC Hospital Mesra Ibadah recently organized a Bengkel Fardhu Kifayah, attended by 50 staff members. The workshop, led by Ustaz Hj Ishkandar Bin Hj Buntar, Chairperson of PJSC Ibadah Friendly Hospital, and an invited Penggapai, Tuan Imam Hj Burhanuddin Bin Hj Damit, focused on the proper techniques for handling the deceased for burial, based on Islamic guidelines. Staff were guided through the essential steps, including the recitation of Surah, followed by a practical demonstration using dummies.

This workshop aims to equip Muslim staff with the crucial knowledge and skills needed to manage funeral rites with respect and care. It is hoped that the knowledge and skills gained will empower the staff to confidently and competently carry out jenazah management, ensuring that every step is performed in accordance with Islamic teachings and with compassion for the deceased. Additionally, this knowledge will serve them well in managing funeral rites for their own loved ones when the need arises.
