Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) and Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) celebrated World Patient Safety Day, World Quality Week and World Pharmacists Day with the aim of raising awareness on the importance of patient safety and quality. This year’s theme, Medication Without Harm, highlights on the importance of taking action in the key areas associated with significant patient harm due to unsafe medication practices. 

Attended as the Guest of Honor was Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham Bin Haji Jaafar in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of PJSC and Executive Director of JPMC. Dr Haji Mazrul Adimin Bin Haji Awg Besar, Executive Director of PJSC was also present along with other senior management teams of both health centres. 

Among the list of activities in today’s commemoration was awards to the Medication Management Audit Champion for PJSC and JPMC and handing over of High Alert Policy Handover to representative of the 3 centres under PJSC, namely, The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC), Brunei Neuroscience Stroke and Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC) and Maxillofacial Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Centre (MFPRSC).
