Visiting Hours
12.00pm – 2.00pm & 5.00pm – 9.00pm daily
- The use of face mask is only required for in-patient areas such as wards, Emergency Departments and Radiology Department.
- Face masks are not required for outpatient areas such as clinics, phlebotomy and pharmacies.
- However, face mask is required for individuals with Influenza-like Illness (ILI) symptoms.
For clinics:
- The use of face mask is not required in the General Clinic area, unless the individual has Influenza-like illness (ILI) symptoms.
- ART remains mandatory for patients being admitted to the hospital except for newly recovered cases.
- ART remains mandatory for cancer patients and the visitor accompanying the patient for chemotherapy treatment.
- ART remains mandatory for registered patient carers.
- Meanwhile, it is not mandatory for visitors to do an ART before visiting inpatients in PJSC wards. However, they are not allowed to visit if they have symptoms or are unwell.
For Clinics:
- ART is still required for patients who have influenza-like Illness (ILI) symptoms and those that have been referred for admission.
To avoid the risk of infection and to ensure that patients admitted to the ward get adequate rest and receive timely care treatment:
- Only two (2) designated visitors (excluding carer) are allowed per patient per visiting session during visiting hours.
- Children under the age of 12 years old are NOT allowed to enter the ward/unit.
- Visitors are only allowed to visit patients who are under isolation orders, in holding wards, isolation wards or any wards with restricted access.
- Visitors are allowed with patient’s permission to do video calls with family but are not allowed to do video recordings of staff, other patients or the wards.
Only one (1) visitor is allowed to accompany patients for appointment/medicine collection.
All visitor must ensure they:
- Wear face masks at all areas where they are required.
- Keep their voices down and avoid making loud noises.
- Wash their hands with soap and water or use the hand sanitizer before and after visit.
- Keep their mobile phones switched off or on silent mode.
- Do not visit patients if they are unwell or sick.
- Respect the privacy of other patients.
- Refraining from eating and drinking in the ward.
Only one (1) carer with negative ART result per patient is allowed.
- Change of carer for each patient is allowed on the condition that the replacement procedures a negative ART.
- The carer must ensure to:
- Wear face mask at all times.
- Keep their voices down and avoid making loud noises.
- Wash hands with soap and water or use the hand sanitizer regularly.
- Keep mobile phone switched off or on silent mode.
- Respect the privacy of other patients.
Patients who are COVID-19 positive are advised not to attend their routine clinic visits, e.g., routine clinic appointment or dental procedures. Instead, they are advised to reschedule their appointments.
However, COVID-19 patients who are experiencing worsening symptoms can seek treatment at the hospital or nearby health centres and should inform healthcare staff that they are positive for COVID-19.

The Brunei Cancer Centre (TBCC) was established in 2009 dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, education and research. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic cancer services involving our multidisciplinary team to individualise treatment for our patients. In our care, we also collaborate with international renowned cancer centres.

The Brunei Neuroscience Stroke & Rehabilitation Centre (BNSRC) was established in 2010 as a highly specialised stroke facility with a comprehensive array of infrastructure and expertise for stroke patients requiring medical and surgical care, specialised investigations and therapies.
Maxillofacial, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Centre (MFPRSC)
The Centre for Maxillofacial, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was a small department when it was established in 1993. In 1993, the centre commenced the state wide Cleft Lip and Palate Deformities service in collaboration with the Orthodontists, Speech Therapist and Dentists with paediatric interest.
